This is from their new, self-titled album that comes out tomorrow. Pitchfork gave it a 9.5 out of 10, which is pretty unusual for them to do, so I figured I’d check it out.
It’s definitely very good. Probably not 9.5 out of 10 good, but it’s far from disappointing.
The thing is, though, it sounds like the type of the album that’s great for certain moods but not one I could listen to all the time.
The album on the whole has this lonely, melancholy feel to it, even though some of the songs on it are upbeat.
